My Opiate.

So it was all over. The advance & retreat, the doubts & hesitations. Everything finished, for better or for worse. There we were, sheltering from the heavy rain, & maybe the sun, under a large mango tree. But I failed to remember, the light, the water, can come in through the leaves. There're loop holes everywhere, in everything, in me. So now the only thing I can do is to calm the storm in the tea cup, stirred up by me & my assumptions. & then maybe I'd walk away.

We were taught a new way of sprinting today. It actually worked haha, at least it did for me.
& a story Melanie & I wrote during physics. Future authors of best-selling books I tell you.
Summer Heat.
'The hottest day of summer, so far was drawing to close & drowsy silence lay over the large bungalows along ocean avenue. The lawn that was once emerald green now parched & yellowing. The only teenager wandering outside was me. No. & him. In the tree house, spinning empty bottles. Oh. His name doesn't start with S. Because he's not an ass. Those beautiful pair of eyes. Gorgeous. Binoculars in my hands, peeping at him. I'm no pervert, though. 'Call it a day, little detective,' he said, coming down the ladders. I chuckled. I sneaked into his car's cracked leather seat. There's a smell of gasoline. 'Let's feel the danger! he said as he drifted on the road. Then 'BANG', we both died in the summer heat.'

so, if I wished, I could follow you 12:39 AM
